Abstract
Ming Dynasty is the period in which Huizhou local chronicles are being further developed. In this period ,the compilation of local chronicles is very common in Huizhou district. Specioal annals have many categoriesand the theories of compilation are increasingly riched.This lays a sound,theoretical and practical foundation for the upsurge of local chronicles compilation in Huizhou in Qing dynasty.
