Abstract
The results of the experiments showed that the infectivity of gametocytes of Plasmodium cynomolgi B strain to Anopheles stephensi at various ages are different. With the growth of mosquitos, the infection rate decreased.Especially, when the blood meal of mosquitos is not at the best time, this different is more evident. Therefore,in the malaria experiments, Anopheles stephensi of 3~8 days should be used.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
