Abstract

Total cyanide in water samples was respectively assayed with flow injection analysis and spectrophotometry. The F - test and t - test showed that the content data acquired from these two methods had no significant differences to determine the content of total cyanide in water samples, and the precision and accuracy were accorded with the analysis criteria. The flow injection analysis was easier operation, and had higher degree of automation and higher sensitivity than spectrophotometry.
