Abstract
Today′s GSM platform is a extremly successful wireless technology and an unprecedented global achievement.GSM is an open,non-proprietary system that is constantly evolving.One of its great strengths is the international roaming capability.The advantages of the modulation method GMSK include bandwidth efficiency and constant envelope.These advantages are some of the reasons why GMSK was adopted as the modulation scheme for today′s GSM.In this paper,we discuss in detail the principle of GMSK digital modulation which is applied in wireless mobile communication widely.Then we present a FPGA block diagram of GMSK digital modulation system and develop it via software ISE based on FPGA.At last,we simulate the system via software Modelsim.Finally,we got on ideal result.
