Abstract
This paper introduces the theory and property of GMSK modulation and demodulation,provides its FPGA implementation in SDR(software definition radio) system,analyzes the key technologies of the system,finally gives the plot of simulation signals of GMSK modulation and demodulation in FPGA.Comparing with the traditional communication system,this system's modulation,demodulation,DUC,DDC,filtering,synchronization and sampling judge are all implemented by software.Only through modifying baseband modulation and demodulation way,this system is transplanted into other communication systems,such as OFDM,QPSK and so on.
