Abstract
With the spreading of thoughts of modernity, globalization causes much more problems. While some of the western famous scholars are seeking to solve these problems, Chinese scholars are trying to offer their own answers. The aim of this article is just to discuss globalization from several points: the legitimacy of the globalization discourse; the medium culture in globalization——that is, Chinese cultural identity in this context; the consciousness of diversity, and the importance of cultural dialogues.
