Abstract
Objective To identify successful transfection of hHCN2 gene into HEK293 cells by liposome method and create a model for studying ionic channels.Methods hHCN2 was transfected with lipofectamine 2000 into HEK293 line cells.Whole-cell patch clamp indicated that hHCN2 gene was transfected into HEK293 cells.Results Whole-cell patch clamp recorded ionic currents of transfected hHCN2.Conclusion The techniques we used are dependable and will be helpful for us study the relationship between the structure and function of cloned ionic channels.
