Abstract
Objective To analyze the CT features of peripheral lung adenocarcinomas so as to improve the accuracy of the diagnosis. Methods The CT features of 67 patients with peripheral lung adenocarcinomas proved by operation and pathology were studied retrospectively. Results The basic CT features were as follows: vacuole or air bronchus-charging sign was found in 31 cases (40.3%), in which, 26 were moderately and highly differentiated; spiculation sign in 37 (55.2%); deep lobulation sign in 38 (56.7%); spiculate protuberance sign, 47 cases(70.1%); pleural indentation sign, 40 (59.7%); vessel convergence sign in 39 (58.2%); 54 cases had more than three basic CT signs mentioned above. Conclusion A comprehensive analysis of basic CT features is conducive to enhance the accuracy of the diagnosis of peripheral lung adenocarcinomas.
