Abstract
Three slope analysis methods using limit equilibrium theory are introduced,then combining with real project of Fenghuang Mountain slope at Xishi Road in Yan'an,the stability of the slope is analyzed with SLOPE/W program.The analysis model is founded,and the safety factor of each step slope is calculated separately by means of Bishop and Janbu methods under the conditions without underground water and with underground water.The comparison between the computer stimulating results and the results calculated by means of surplus thrust force is made,which indicates that the stability analysis of soil slope with SLOPE/W program is reliable and that water is a key factor to slope stability.
