Abstract
Objective:To investigate the myocardial protective effects of ulinastatin on ischemia-reperfusion injury in isolated immature rabbit heart models and the mechanisms thereof.Methods:Forty New Zealand white immature rabbits were used in the study to establish Langendorff heart models.The hearts were mounted on Langendorff apparatus and perfused with oxygenated K-H solution at 37 ℃ for 30 min after 30 min global myocardial ischemia.The heart rate(HR),left ventricular pressure(LVP),maximum rate of left ventricular pressure rise(LVdp/dtmax) and coronary flow(CF)were monitored at 0 min before ischemia and 10,20,30 min after reperfusion.The concentrations of creatine kinase(CK),cardiac troponini(cTnI),tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α and interleukin -6(IL-6) of coronary sinus effluent were detected at time points of 1 min before ischemia and 10,20 and 30 min after reperfusion.Results:The values of HR,CF and LVdp/dtmax cTnI were increased after reperfusion in ulinastatin group(P 0.05or P 0.01).The concentrations of CK,cTnI,TNF-α and IL-6 were significantly lower in gulinastain group than that of control group(P 0.01).Conclusion:Ulinastain significantly reduced myocardial reperfusion injury in isolated immature rabbit heart models.
