The mechanism of interaction between urban transport and land use

Abstract
The interaction mechanism between urban transport and land use is explored by analyzing the key factors of their interaction.The article suggests that certain mode of land use can result in some relevant mode of urban transport,while the improvement of accessibility and externality caused by transport can also lead the direction of land use.The analysis result shows that accessibility,travel cost and land rent are all important factors which affect urban transport and land use interaction.Laws,regulations and urban planning are also considered essential to ensure the coordination of urban transport and land use.
