Abstract

Objective: To investigate the relationship between infertility and semen white blood cells, and provide reference for clinic. Methods: Clinical data of 180 male infertility patients and 180 cases of healthy male(control group) in our hospital from February 2008 to February 2011 were analyzed retrospectively, the semen was dyed with Wright-Giemsa,white blood cells and other morphological cells were classify by oil immersion.Semen dynamic indicators were analyzed of patients with abnormal semen white blood cells, patients with normal semen white blood cells, and patients in control group. Results: Semen liquefaction, abnormal sperm viscosity, semen pH value, sperm apoptosis rate, solution urea mycoplasma and trachoma mycoplasma infection of patients with abnormal sperm white blood cells were significantly higher than those of normal birth group and normal semen white blood cells group, and sperm density, sperm quantity, live rate, sperm motility were significantly lower than those of normal birth group and normal semen white blood cells group(P0.05 or P0.01).Sperm movement parameters of abnormal semen white blood cells group was lower than the normal group, the differences were significant(P0.01).Conclusion: The impact of sperm white blood cells cause infertility by affecting the quality of semen.
