Flavored Banxia Xiexin Decoction Combined with Chemotherapy on Patients Life Quality after Operation of Gastric Carcinoma

Abstract
Objective: To observe the flavored Banxia Xiexin Decoction combined with chemotherapy on patients life quality after operation of gastric carcinoma. Methods: 57 patients were randomly divided into treatment group(n = 29) and control group(n = 28). Two groups were given chemotherapy after operation. The treatment group was given flavored Banxia Xiexin Decoction based on concept. Observe the clinical symptoms,body quality situation,hemoglobin content and chemotherapy cycle. Results: The epigastric fullness,nausea and vomiting,belching,acid regurgitation,substernal burning pain,mouth pain in TCM syndrome of treatment group were improved significantly compared with the control group(P 0. 05). The life quality of two groups have improved,and the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P 0. 05). The anemia and body mass loss of treatment group were significantly better than that of control group,chemotherapy completion rate is higher than that of the control group(P 0. 01). Conclusion: Flavored Banxia Xiexin Decoction combined with chemotherapy can not only help the patients to finish chemotherapy smoothly,but also can improve the patients' s life quality.
