Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of acitretin combined with compound flumetasone ointment for the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris. Methods Eighty psoriasis vulgaris patients admitted to our department were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 40 cases in each group. The treatment group received oral acitretin capsules combined with compound flumetasone ointment, and the control group only received oral acitretin capsules,a course of six weeks. Two groups of patients were evaluated according to psoriasis area and severity of lesions(PASI),and adverse reactions were observed. Results The treatment group and the control group showed statistical differences, and the rate was 87.5% and 67.5%,respectively,in the first 6weeks of treatment. At the same time,PASI in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(3.03±1.53 vs 5.86±2.36),and the difference was statistical.Adverse reactions observed during treatment in both groups were elevated blood lipids, mild dry lips, dry skin and mild symptoms. Conclusion Acitretin combined with compound flumetasone ointment for the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris is effective and safe.
