Abstract
Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Compound Flumetasone Ointment for the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris. Methods A randomized multicenter clinical study with positive control was carried out.One hundred and forty patients with psoriasis vulgaris were divided into two groups and treated for four weeks. The treatment group was treated with Compound Flumetasone Ointment therapy (B.i.d)and the control group was treated with Elocon(B.i.d). Results The curative rates were 24.28% in the treatment group and 15.71% in the control group. The efficacy rates were 77.14% and 58.57% respectively. The efficacy rate of treatment group were higher than that of control group(P0.05).There was not adverse reaction occured in both two groups. Conclusions Compound Flumetasone Ointment is an effective and safe topical agent for the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris.
