Abstract
Karsts mountains are distributed wildly around Guizhou province in the southwest of China, and its square is about 540 000 sq.km. Karst landforms developes completely in this region. It is also the most serious land rocky desertification. The article regards rocky desertification as co_impact by karst natural proceed and human activities, but it is fragility of soil that is essential for land rocky desertification. On the basis of these the thesis expatiate the reasons and control of rocky desertification, some concrete countermeasures are put forward.
