Textual Research of the Ancient Names of Jing County

Jing County in Hebei Province is marked as修in the map about the Xindu country in Western Han Dynasty named Qin,Han,Department of Jizhou provincial governor in Eastern Han Dynasty from Historical Atlas of China edited by Mr.Tan Qixiang.And after History of Han Dynasty,the ancient names of Jing County in Chronicles are修條脩 蓨 蓚蓧.There are three reasons for this confusion:first,the blending of words in the perspective of philology;second,compilors' misspelling and misquotation in compiling Chronicles;third,the use of different words in inscibing the same historical data of different editions.According to the account and notes of the Chrinicles,although it cannot be considered an error that Mr.Tan marks Jing County as 修 in Historical Atlas of China,it is not so appropriate as 條 or the simple word 条.
