Abstract
In heavy oil thermal recovery engineering, dryness fraction of steam produced by conventional steam injection boiler is low and usually it is less than 50% when the steam goes to well bottom, which leads to a lower recovery efficiency.A high dryness fraction superheated steam boiler is newly developed.Associated with the basic situation of heavy oil thermal recovery with steam injection in Xinjiang Oilfield, the working principle, structural features, field operation and relevant technical tests of the boiler are presented in this paper.
