Economic Types and Comprehensive Economic Districts in Xinjiang

In this paper, according to the statistic and investigated data, taking 86 countries(or cities)of Xinjiang as the study unit, by the methods of Principal Component analysis and Hierarchical Cluster analysis, economic region types and economic district were discussed .With 29 economic indexes ,the economy development of 86 countries(or cities)were classified into 9 types, and the whole area of Xinjiang were classified into 10 economic districts in the combination with corresponding principle. On the base of the analysis results, region development strategies were put forward.
