Abstract
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of percutaneous ureteroscopic pneumatic lithotripsy for renal calculi. Methods 64 cases with renal calculi were treated by the percutaneous ureteroscopic pneumatic lithotripsy. Results All patients in the group were established successfully the percutaneous renal access in one-phase,without ureteral perforation, avulsion fracture,or mucous membranes and other complications,no conversion to open surgery. The average operation time was 70.5 min, average hospital stay of 16 days.Mean blood loss was 210.6 ml.After review,in one-phase surgery the stone removal rate was 90.6%.Conclusion Percutaneous ureteroscopic pneumatic lithotripsy for renal calculi is safe and practical, less injury, less complications and stone, high efficiency, shorter operation and hospital stay, repeatable puncture, etc.Especially for patients with open postoperative residual stone, recurrence of stones and omplicated concurrent obstruction, renal dysfunction,it is significantly better than other methods, which deserves wide clinical application.
