Clinical analysis of 86 cases of cesarean myomectomy

Objective To explore the safety and feasibility of myomectomy during cesarean section. Methods The clinical data of 86 cases (study group) receiving myomectomy during cesarean section were retrospectively analyzed and compared with those of 86 cases of normal cesarean section. Results Between normal cesarean section group and study group,there were no significant difference in operative blood loss,operative time,vaginal hemorrhage in 24 h after operation,postoperative hospital stay and lochia period (P0.05),but there was significant difference in operating time (P0.05). Further consultation 42 days after operation of myomectomy during cesarean section showed the size of uterus got back.Conclusion Myomectomy during cesarean section is safe and feasible for appropriate cases.
