Retrospective analysis of 66 cases of cesarean myomectomy

Objective To explore the safety of myomectomy during cesarean section.Methods The clinical data of 66 cases(case group) receiving myomectomy during cesarean section and 60 cases simply underwent cesarean section(control group) were retrospectively analyzed.Results Time spent during operation in the study group was significantly longer than that of the control group(P0.05).No significant differences in intro-operative blood loss,time of bowel open,post-operative morbidity,and hospital day between the two groups were observed.Conclusion Myomectomy during cesarean section is safe and feasible for appropriate cases.
