Investigation of Listeria Monocytogenes Contamination Status at Dongmen Supermarket In Shenzhen

Objective To investigate the Listeria monocytogenes contamination status.Methods Both the routine method(GB4789.30-2003) and real-time PCR were used to detect Listeria monocytogenes in food samples.Results Fifty samples were examined and 3 positive samples were discovered by both methods.Conclusion The Listeria monocytogenes contamination exists at Dongmen supermarket in Shenzhen and the contamination rate is 6%.The food hygienic supervision institute should pay more attention to sanitation measures to avoiding Listeria monocytogenes food poisoning.
