Historical Materialism's Conception of "Being"

It is held by some scholars that it is Karl Marx and Martin Heideggar that launched the turn of Western philosophical theme and thinking from rationalism to existentialism. Such a notion comes from the fact that historical materialism's concept of being has not been elaborated and even the importance of elaborating it has not come into our consciousness.
