Abstract
Objective To investigate the antihypertensive effects of combined acupuncture and its mechanism. Methods 50 patients with essential hypertension(EH) were randomly divided into two groups, treatment group(acupuncture combined) of 25 cases and the control group(drug) 25 cases were observed before and after treatment both groups blood pressure, plasma nitric oxide, endothelin factors change. Results The antihypertensive effect of the treatment group than the control group(P0.01),plasma NO content increased,ET decreased, the difference was statistically significant(P0.01).Conclusion The antihypertensive effect of acupuncture combined better than drugs, the mechanism may be through regulating NO,ET levels achieved.
