Abstract
Objective:To investigate the risk factors associated with the development of pancreatic fistula after pancreatoduodenectomy(PD).Methods:We statistically analysized the clinical data of 141 cases undergone PD from 1997 to 2007.Results:There was significant correlation between texture of pancreas, icterus, operation time with development of pancreatic fistula after pancreatoduodenectomy, but no significant correlation with age, sex, preoperative hemoglobin level and preoperative prealbumin level, blood loss during operation. Conclusion:Texture of pancreas, icterus, and operation time are main risk factors of development of pancreatic fistula after PD.
