Abstract

This paper gives an introduction of the Second West-East Gas Transmission Pipeline Project and summarizes the types and characteristics of automatic pipeline welding used by CPP(China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau).It elaborates on the automatic pipeline welding training programs for CPP and cases of the application of automatic welding in pipeline projects in the light of the current construction of the Second West-East Gas Transmission Pipeline Project.
