Research on Professional Development of Vocational Colleges Teachers

Teaching practitioners are required to possess proper knowledge and qualification of their specialty.The professional development has become one concern of education reform all over the world.The same is true in vocational education in China.Professional vocational college teachers are necessary to the realization of vocational education goal.The paper points out that,to enhance the teachers' professional development,colleges need to improve teachers'assessment and management system and strengthen the cooperation with enterprises in teachers' training.It also encourages teachers of higher vocational colleges to reflect more on their teaching and research on it.
