A clinical study on treatment of knee osteoarthritis by intraarticular injection of sodium hyaluronate

Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of intraarticular sodium hyaluronate for treatment on osteoarthritis of the knee joint. Method: To observe the therapeutic effects and the changes of functional index before and after the therapy. Result: The percentage of clinical improvement was about 92.31%, and the function of the involved lower extremities was enhanced. Conclusion: The clinical efficiency of hyaluronate is fairly good.
