Abstract
Objective To investigate the efficacy of five-medicine therapy in Schonlein-Henoch purpura. Methods One hundred children with Schonlein-Henoch purpura were randomly divided into Group A and Group B, the five-medicine or traditional therapy was given respectively. Their nail microcirculation was detected by Olympus microscope before and after the treatment. Forty normal children served as controls. Results No obvious discrepancy of indexes was observed in the two groups (χ 2= 0.00-0.15,t=0.45,P0.05), and hospitalization of the five-medicine group was shorter (t=6.11,P0.01). Conclusion The five-medicine therapy is better for Schonlein-Henoch purpura.
