Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical distribution and drug-resistance of 112 strains of acinetobacter baumannii in our hospital. Methods The disk diffusion method was employed to detect the drug-resistance ratio. The confirmatory test and three dimensional test were applied to filter β-lactamase and AmpC positive strains. Results Clinical infection of acinetobacter baumannii had rather high drug-resistance rate to thirteen different antibiotic agents. The positive ratio of ESBLs and AmpC were 1.8%,71.4%.The lowest of drug-resistance ratio to imipenem was 9.8%.Conclusion Clinical epidemic isolates of acinetobacter baumannii in our hospital were AmpC producing mainly, with multiple drug resistance.Antimicrobial agents shoud be used rationally to decrease multi-drug resistance.
