Urbanization rate and features in Shandong Province from different statistical caliber

Based on the impact of change of the statistical caliber of fifth census and the sixth census,it analyzes the characteristics of the change of the urbanization rate of Shandong Province since 2000. The results show that the change of the statistical caliber can affect the comparability of urbanization rate in Shandong Province. The urbanization speed in Shandong Province is slightly lower than the national average level. The urbanization rate in less developed areas of Shandong Province increase rapidly; the regional difference of urbanization rate in Shandong Province is gradually reducing; the spatial distribution of urban population in Shandong p Province tends to balance,but the spatial separation of urbanization and economic development has not been resolved. Based on the regression equation of the urbanization rate and the per capita GDP in Shandong Province,it shows that as the population flow to different regions,the actual population rate is higher than the theoretical urbanization rate in the population net inflow regions,the actual population rate is lower than the theoretical urbanization rate in the population net outflow regions.
