Thoughts on the policy and planning of foreign language education in our country

The policy and planning of foreign language education concerns the overall situation of our country's education.This paper analyzes the present conditions in our country's foreign language education,reviews the foreign language educational policy of our country since China's foundation and compares it with the foreign language educational policy of America,Australia and France.It also presents four contradictions in our country's foreign language education and gives some solutions,hoping that it can be helpful in formulating the foreign language educational policy and planning of our country.
