Analysis of the Clinical Effect of Controlled-release Tablets in the Treatment of Diabetes Mellitus with Glipizide Extended

Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical effect of controlled-release glipizide in treating type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods The diabetic patients in our hospital from 120 cases,were randomly divided into observation group and control group,patients in the observation group use controlled-release Glipizide treatment,the patients in control group were treated with metformin.Results The patients in the two groups after treatment,FBG,F2BG,TC,TG,LDL,decreased significantly,and the patients in the observation group decreased significantly than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion The use of glipizide controlled-release tablets in the treatment of diabetes,can effectively reduce the blood glucose and lipid levels in patients with metformin,compared with more good clinical effect.
