Abstract
Based on calculation of the magnetic field of a novel transmission mechanism using a magnetic gear, the rational speed was discussed according to the torque and load. By calculating the fields of a magnetic gear during synchronous rotation, the relationship between torque fluctuation and angle was studied. Finally, the mechanism of a magnetic gear was tested. The study shows that the magnetic gear has a very small torque fluctuation and an excellent transmission performance.
