On the Influence of Negative Transfer on SLA

Abstract

Language transfer has long been a central issue in applied linguistics,second language acquisition,language teaching and the study of language.The negative language transfer of native language is inevitable in the process of second language acquisition and it is also one of the most important factors which affect second language acquisition.The paper analyses those effects from the three aspects which include lexicological,syntactic and discourse and it discusses some pedagogical implications for the EFL teaching.
