Abstract
A oxidized copper ore contains more mud and it is difficult to be sorted by flotation method.Direct leaching of copper from the ore using sulfuric acid was researched. The results showed that copper leaching rate was over 86% under the conditions of sulfuric acid concentration of 2 mol/L,grinding fineness of-74 μm accounting for 84.43%,liquid-solid ratio of 4∶1,stirring speed of 300 r/min,agitation time of 5 h,and ambient temperature. The leaching liquor was further to solvent extract and electrodeposit, the copper products with quality requirements could be obtained.
