Abstract
Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of contrast-enhanced ultrasonography(CEUS)in small focal hepatic lesions complicated with cirrhosis(≤3.0 cm). Methods 76 patients with 87 small focal hepatic lesions(≤3.0 cm)and cirrhosis were examined by conventional ultrasound and CEUS,the results were divided into five types: ①benign,②possible benign,③not diagnosis,④possible malignant,⑤malignant.The results of CEUS and conventional ultrasound were compared with those of pathology. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of CEUS and conventional ultrasound were calculated. Results Pathological examination showed that 41 leisons were malignant and 46 lesions were benign. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy in diagnosing small focal hepatic lesions complicated with cirrhosis by CEUS and conventional ultrasound were 97.8 %,97.6%,97.7% and 47.8%,78.0%,62.1%,respectively.Conclusion CEUS has high application value in differential diagnosis of small focal hepatic lesions complicated with cirrhosis(≤3.0 cm).
