Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy on post-stroke dysphgia treated with acupuncture and swallowing function training. Methods 100 cases of post-stroke dysphgia were randomized into two groups:a treatment group(50 cases),in which acupuncture was applied in combination with swallowing function training;and a control group(50 cases),in which, the simple medication was used. After 21 days continuous treatment, the clinical comprehensive efficacy was observed in two groups. Results In the treatment group,24 cases were cured,14 cases effective markedly,6 cases effective and 4 cases failed;the total effective rate was 92%.In the control group,18 cases were cured,12 cases markedly effectively,10 cases effective and 10 cases failed;the total effective rate was 80%.By the Ridit test, the clinical efficacy of the treatment group was significantly superior to that of the control group, presenting the statistical significant difference(P0.05).Conclusions Acupuncture in combination with swallowing function training achieves the significant efficacy on dysphgia. This therapy relieves remarkably choking, difficulty in food intake, etc. The efficacy is significantly superior to the simple medication group.
