Abstract

As the pioneer and the founder of the recent vocational education in China,ZHANG Jian has played a significant role in modern Chinese history.The combination and interaction of industry and educaˉtion became the great force of the development of the society in those days.ZHANG Jian's rich and adˉvanced vocational education ideology has the referential and instructional meaning to educators today,and it works as the highlight for the reform of the educational system.
