Abstract

A great deal has been achieved in the field of research on ZHANG Jian's thoughts on vocational education,including monographs and theses,which cover principles,policies,purpose,content,characteristics,etc.of vocational education.But the research is only in its initial stage;many problems for further study remain as to the conditions for the formation of ZHANG's vocational education ideas,its development stages,its position in the history of vocational education in modern China.
