The reforming Three-Mini insicion blepharoplasty for treatment of cutis laxa of upper eyelid

Objective To search a new treatment for cutis laxa of upper eyelid.Methods 159 cases double eyelid plasty,96 cases of A group underwent traditional double eyelid plasty,the other 63 cases of B group underwent the reforming Three-Mini insicion blepharoplasty to remove the lax section of upper eyelid simplely,and keep the orbicularis oculi wholly,cut open the orbicularis oculi about 2mm at three points respectively which are located on the double eyelid line.To remove the pretarsal tissue under the cut of orbicularis oculi,and suture the skin together with tarsus at the three points,the remaining skin should be sutured discontinuously.Results 96 cases of A group required a satisfying shape after double eyelid plasty,complications such as hypertrophic scar and dissatisfied shape happened on 6 cases after surgery who acquired a satisfying shape after repairing again,the recovery time is 3±0.3 months.63 cases of B group acquired a satisfying shape,only 2 get a postoperative complication whose double eyelid line disappeared 2 months later,but also acquired a satisfying shape after repairing again.the recovery time is(1±0.5)months.Conclusion The reforming Three-Mini insicion blepharoplasty could improve the cutis laxa of upper eyelid effectively.
