Incomplete double eyelid plasty with incision in lateral part for the treatment of upper eyelid cutis laxa in youth and the middle age

Objective To introduce an incomplete double eyelid plasty with incision in lateral part for the surgical treatment of upper eyelid cutis laxa in youth and the middle age.Methods An incision was made in the 1/3 lateral part of designed double eyelid line.Part of skin and fat were cut off in the shape of broom,and then closure was accomplished via interrupted suture with 6-0 silk lines.32 young or middle aged patients of upper eyelid cutis laxa were treated with this method.Results All total 32 cases obtained satisfactory effects and gained rejuvenated eyelid.Conclusion Incomplete double eyelid plasty with incision in lateral part is a simple and effective procedure for the treatment of upper eyelid cutis laxa.
