Abstract
This paper analyzes the advantage of XML in solving above problem. On the basis of this analysis, it proposes a new schema of heterogeneous database integration to achieve transparent access and unified query. It presents implementation method of main parts in details. And key questions are researched and proved which include schemas mapping, transparent access and unified query etc.
