Abstract

This article focuses on the major dimensions of cognitive style of field independence / field dependence to the influence of English reading learning. Since the 20th century,the study of cognitive mode aroused great attention.Field-independence / field dependence cognitive style in reading plays an important role.This article mainly talk about field-independence / field dependence cognitive styles of different characteristics of students and talk about how the teachers to teach students with different cognitive styles of teaching to raise their reading level.
