Abstract
Based on the theory of narratology,the function of narrator in Chen'ai Luoding is mainly analyzed.It is found that the control of the omniscient and omnipotent the first narrator plays a very important role in pushing the whole plot.At the same time,through the narrator's function,the central power is also found hidden into the text,which defines narrator's key role in the novel.
