APPLICATION OF GEOCHEMICAL EXPLORATION IN GEOLOGICAL PROSPECTING OF JINSHUIQUAN GOLD DEPOSIT IN FUYUN OF XIN JIANG

Abstract

In order to find new gold deposits in kalamaili gold ore belt of eastern Junggar,on the basis of the achievements of 1∶200000stream sediment geochemical measurement,in combination with the geochemical characteristics of the landscape,the No.AR-26 anomaly area was selected for1∶50000rock crumbs survey and 1∶10000~1000 rock survey,analyses the geochemical characteristics of trace elements,deduces the spatial position of gold deposit,followed by the affirmation by systematic geological engineering work.Finaly the location of the Jinshuiquan gold deposit was defined.Geological practice in the exploration of JinShuiQuan gold deposit in the Eastern Junggar region of Xinjiang has shown that to stress the importance of selecting regional geochemical exploration anomaly areas,reduce target area step by step,conduct anomaly investigations,followed geological tracing and engineering disclosing of the optimal anomaly areas is able to reduce the period of geological exploration effectively and improve the probability of finding gold deposit.
