Discussion on Error of Chinese National Culture Classics Education in Schools of Higher Learning through Teaching of "The Book of Songs"

With the Confucian classics as the core,the study of Chinese national culture education has its significance beyond measure with regard to handing down Chinese civilization,establishing nation's confidence,strengthening nation's sense of pride and power of unity,and even constituting Chinese academic system. However,currently very serious error is still existed in the study of Chinese culture education in schools of higher learning. In terms of The Book of Songs teaching,literature education is much more paid attention to than culture spirits education,the profound connotation of Confucian classics culture,on one hand,can not be embodied,and on the other hand,the complete picture of The Book of Songs can not be reflected,and what's more,it's not beneficial to popularize the study of Chinese culture education. In order to correct the error,first of all the professional courses should be set up toward the students who learn close to Chinese traditional culture greatly,and secondly,the optional classes for popularizing Chinese culture classics should be set up toward most of students in schools of higher learning.
