The Outcome of Separating Roots and Fixed Prosthesis of Mandibular Molar with Residual Crown and Functional Involvement

Severe furcation involvement is frequently encountered in the dentist clinically dental problems.Its treatment is difficult and ineffective,and has been considered as indication of the extraction especially accompanied by residual crown.We use the separating roots technique combined with ceramic joint crown restorative as the treatment for severe furcation involvement of mandibular molars crown.The treatment has achieved satisfying result regards saving teeth and increasing chewing function,maintaining the stability of the dentition,and improving patients' quality of life.
