Abstract
Objective To study the expression of MCM4 and the clinical significance in cervical squamous carcinoma(CSC).Methods The expression of MCM4 was detected immunohistochemist rically in 20 cases of normal cervical epithelia,20 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia CINⅠ,20 cases of CINⅡ-Ⅲ and 50 case s of invasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix. Results The expressive rate of MCM4 in normal cervical, epithelia, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia CINⅠ CINⅡ-Ⅲ and nvasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix was significantly different between normal cervical epithelia, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia CIN and nvasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix(χ2 =45.588,P 0.05).The positive expression level of MCM4 was significantly different between normal cervical epithelia, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia CIN and nvasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix(Hc =36.655,P 0.05).Among the different histopathological grade groups, the expressive intensity of MCM4 was all significantly different(χ2 = 10.359,P 0.05);between the two groups of lymph node metastasis or not,the expressive intensity of MCM4 was all significantly different(χ2 =5.748,P0.05);Expression of MCM4 were not correlated with age group and clinical stages(χ2 =1.666,P0.05;χ2 =0.076,P0.05).Conclusion ①The expression of MCM4 correlates with the occurrence and development of CSC.②Detecting the expression of MCM4 may be served as the molecular biological index of evaluating infiltration and metastasis,it may be useful for diagnosis of early CSC and evaluating its prognosis.
